Parenteral micellar solution (Soludis® technology)
Aqueous solubility is critical to the success of a potential drug candidate. Adequate injectable formulations of poorly-soluble drugs are often the key to successful pre-clinical as well as clinical drug development. Physica Pharma has a successful track record at formulating poorly soluble drug including a micellar and lipid free solution of propofol which is considered to be one of the most challenging injectable products to develop.

   
 

Sustained release tablets (Matris® Technology)
Sustained release tablets permit constant drug delivery within the required therapeutic range, reduction in the number of doses, enhanced drug safety profiles and improved patient compliance. We use a matrix tablet technology, easy to manufacture and cost effective.
     
 

Taste masking (OptiMask® Technology)
Taste-masking is an important factor in patient compliance. Physica Pharma proposes taste masking solutions using various bitterness depressants and flavouring agents as well as coating systems.
 
     
 
Orally disintegrating tablets (Orodis® technology)
ODT rapidly disintegrate in the mouth without the need of water. It is a user’s friendly dosage form which may encourage patient compliance. Orodis® tablets are simple to produce and cost effective.
     
 
Poorly water soluble compounds for oral route (Biodis® technology)
Poorly water-soluble drug present significant challenges due to their inadequate solubilisation in digestive liquids: poor bioavailability, inter and intra-individual variability, significant food effects. Physica Pharma has developed Biodis®, a technology which enables to overcome solubilisation limitations to provide efficient drug absorption.
     
 
Poorly permeable compounds (Biodis® technology)
Highly water soluble drugs, while easily soluble in biological liquids, cannot effectively traverse epithelial lipidic membranes and reach the bloodstream. With Biodis® technology, Physica Pharma offers a solution which addresses the issue of poor permeability.

Tablet gums
Chewing-gums can be taken without water and allows for local and systemic delivery. Our gum tablets are cost effective as they can be manufactured using traditional tableting equipment.
